This Privacy Policy explains how Shone Infra Pvt. Ltd. (“Shone”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses information in the Shone Infra mobile application (the “App”) and its associated management system.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information needed to run the App's work features:

2. How we use your information
- To record and verify attendance, including the location and time of punch-in and punch-out.
- To process site material requirements, petty cash requests and expense claims, and to route them for approval.
- To assign and track tasks and daily site progress.
- To send notifications relating to your work, such as approvals and new assignments.
- To maintain company accounting and project records.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not collect your location in the background. Location is read only at the moment you record attendance or a site entry, while the App is open.
4. Permissions the App asks for
You will be asked for permission before the App uses any of the following. You may refuse, and you can change your decision at any time in your device settings, although some features will not work without them.
- Camera — to photograph attendance, materials, delivery challans and receipts.
- Photo library — to attach existing photographs to your entries.
- Location — to record where attendance and site entries were made.
- Notifications — to alert you about approvals, tasks and requests.
5. Who can see your information
Your entries are visible to authorised administrators and managers within Shone, according to the permissions set for your account. We share information outside the company only where required: with service providers who host our systems and deliver notifications (including Google Firebase for push notifications), with our professional advisers, or where we are required to do so by law.
6. Storage and security
Information is stored on servers operated for Shone and is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access is restricted to authorised personnel. Your login session is stored on your own device so that you are not asked to sign in repeatedly; signing out removes it.
7. How long we keep it
Work records such as attendance, expenses and site documentation are retained for as long as required for company accounting, statutory and audit purposes. Where the law requires us to keep records for a set period, we keep them for that period.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Because the App is a workplace system, requests are handled through your company administrator or by contacting us using the details below. If your employment or contract ends, your account is deactivated.
9. Children
The App is intended for working adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
